Job Overview
Are you a caring individual who enjoys working with people? Join our committed community outreach team in Barrow as a support worker. You will support adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live their best lives, engaging with service users and building trusting therapeutic relationships.
Responsibilities
* Visit service users in their homes or other settings, offering practical support to enable independent living.
* Provide emotional support in line with individual support plans.
* Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management.
* Work independently and use own initiative, being able to lone work.
Requirements
* Being a car driver and car owner (or having access to a vehicle) – mileage allowance paid.
* Must be located in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
