The Surgery Directorate within OUH is seeking a dedicated Directorate PA to provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the management team. Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will provide an effective and efficient administrative and secretarial service to the Directorate Management team (Clinical Director, two Matrons, Directorate Manager (DM), Deputy Directorate Manager (DDM)) within an environment of developing demands.
The Directorate PA will support the Directorate Management Team in the development and maintenance of directorate projects, policies and processes and the implementation of the Directorate’s strategy. This will require attention to detail, the use of excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The post holder will organise the Directorate Management Team activity as required, making full use of time, hospital systems and of IT. Managing multiple tasks to deadlines is an essential part of the role.
