About the Role
Join EY’s Private Capital Tax team as a tax adviser based in London or Manchester. The team is the largest Private Capital office in the UK and focuses on non‑listed financial services businesses, ultra‑high net‑worth individuals, and investment structures, providing corporate, partnership and personal tax advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on a wide range of tax matters including UK corporation tax, international tax, income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other related areas for individuals, businesses and partnerships.
* Build long‑term relationships with a portfolio of accounts and become a trusted advisor.
* Communicate with clients in person, verbally and in writing.
* Collaborate with other EY offices in the UK and overseas.
* Interact with HM Revenue & Customs and third‑party professionals such as financial institutions, lawyers and wealth advisory firms.
Skills and Attributes
* Demonstrated track record of providing UK tax advice to clients.
* Team player with strong communication skills at all levels.
* Attention to detail and ability to deliver work to a high professional standard.
* Computer literate and able to adapt to new systems.
Qualifications
* Initiative, professionalism and confidence.
* Experience in UK tax.
* Relevant professional qualification such as CTA, CA(ICAS), ACA, or ATT.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
