Transport Team Manager

As Transport Team Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering a smooth, efficient and fully compliant transport operation, ensuring every delivery is completed on time and in full. Leading from the front, you’ll drive performance through effective management of KPIs, drive engagement and schedule adherence, while coaching and developing your team to achieve operational excellence for our customer Sainsburys. You’ll build strong relationships across the business and with our trade union, fostering a positive and engaged culture, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, legal compliance and communication throughout the operation.
This is a full‑time, permanent position working an average of 40 hours per week. The schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off: 4 weeks of days 06:00 to 18:00 and 4 weeks of nights 18:00 to 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £17.09 per hour, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company‑sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts.
