CORE SKILLS AND DUTIES
* Carry out servicing of Power Factor Correction LV panels and record test and servicing results.
* Complete site service documentation.
* Carry out servicing of other Power Quality equipment, recording test and servicing results.
* Ensure engineering competencies are kept up to date.
* Carry out repairs to LV Power Factor Equipment / Active harmonic filters.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical (required); qualified Electrical capable of isolating panels.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident in learning other PC‑based apps.
* Knowledge of LV panels and competency in using test & measuring equipment.
* Occasional work outside normal hours; rarely overnight stays.
PROGRESSION & PAY
* Initial rate: £17.14ph / £34,000 + OT (door‑to‑door).
* Approved Engineer rate: £19.12ph.
* Technician rate: £24.77ph.
