At unosquare, we’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Product Development to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define business requirements, shape product roadmaps, and ensure features meet market and user demands.
This is a strategic role that blends analytical thinking, business insight, and a deep understanding of the product lifecycle to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
* Translate user feedback and business goals into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements.
* Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and quarterly planning.
* Break down complex requirements into manageable tasks aligned with sprint cycles.
* Define and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans with QA and stakeholders.
* Work with UX/UI teams to ensure requirements are reflected in design mockups and templates.
* Assist in preparing project updates, reports, and presentations for leadership.
* Lead workshops to gather business processes, workflows, and technical requirements.
* Continuously refine and prioritize product backlogs in collaboration with engineering.
* Act as a liaison between stakeholders and product teams to ensure feedback is captured and prioritized.
* Support performance tracking of new and existing features to assess customer impact.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in a tech-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* 4+ years in IT or software development roles.
* Experience in life sciences or clinical laboratory software.
* CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) certification.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, LucidChart, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, IEC 62304).
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Experience with molecular biology or genetics lab processes is a plus.
* Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy best practices.
