The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and deliver high-level accounts and advisory services.
You will work closely with Partners and oversee junior team members, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT, and general compliance work.
This role suits someone looking for a long-term position within a supportive boutique practice.
Prepare and review statutory year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
Produce management accounts and financial reports.
Provide general accounting and advisory support to clients.
Review work prepared by junior and offshore team members.
Requirements ACCA or ICAS Qualified (essential).
57 years experience within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts, FRS 102, FRS 105, VAT, and general compliance.
Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar.
