Job Title: Nursing Home Manager (RGN) Salary: Around £50,000 per year Location: Gloucestershire area (City Centre) Type: Full-time, permanent About the Role We're currently looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN) with solid leadership experience to take on the role of Home Manager in a well-run nursing home. The home cares for around 25 residents and has a great CQC rating/history. It's a small, settled home with a great reputation and a long-standing, supportive team in place. The home supports older people with a range of needs, mainly focused on dementia and mental health, but also provides palliative care and short-term stays. It's a warm, welcoming environment where high standards of care come first. What You'll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care Managing the nursing and care team, providing leadership, support, and development Making sure the home remains fully compliant with CQC and all other regulatory bodies Handling rotas, staffing levels, training, and recruitment as needed Overseeing care plans, audits, medication management, and safeguarding practices Working closely with families, health professionals, and your senior team to keep care at its best Keeping on top of the home's budget and making sure resources are used wisely What the Home Offers Care for residents with mild to advanced dementia, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities Palliative and end-of-life care, respite, convalescent support, and conditions such as Parkinson's and COPD 24/7 nurse cover supported by experienced carers and healthcare staff Freshly cooked meals and a daily activity programme to keep residents engaged and active What We're Looking For RGN qualification with an active NMC PIN (essential) Previous experience managing (or helping to manage) a nursing home Strong understanding of CQC standards and how to maintain them What You'll Get A stable, well-supported management role with a respected care provider Salary around £50,000 depending on experience Support from regional leadership and opportunities for development A home that's already doing well and wants someone to help keep it that way On-site parking and good public transport links To apply please send up to date cv's to Jacob@Howard-Finley.co.uk or call 07842508560
