As an Experienced Optical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. From supporting the clinical team during eye exams and fittings to offering advice on eyewear and lens options, you’ll be a trusted point of contact for patients. You’ll also help keep accurate records and assist with day-to-day practice admin. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and previous experience in an optical role. As an Experienced Optical Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring every patient receives exceptional care from the moment they walk through the door. Your day-to-day will include: Supporting optometrists and dispensing opticians during eye exams and fittings Advising patients on eyewear options, lens types, and aftercare Managing patient records and handling key administrative tasks Helping to maintain a welcoming and professional practice environment Educating others about the benefits of independent eye care is an ongoing challenge and one that we look forward to meeting head-on with you as a part of our team.
