Join the team at the University of Cambridge Careers Service as an Employer Engagement Coordinator ! The University of Cambridge Careers Service is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Employer Engagement Coordinator to join our Employer and Alumni Engagement Team. In this outward-facing role, you will act as a relationship manager for organisations and employers looking to connect with Cambridge students, recent alumni, and postdoctoral researchers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we explore innovative ways of working with employers and alumni to support students in navigating an evolving graduate employment landscape. You will be part of a friendly and collaborative team, responsible for managing and developing relationships with a wide range of UK and international employers. You will develop a strong understanding of their recruitment needs, co-create tailored engagement strategies, and gather up-to-date labour market intelligence. You'll also play a key role in identifying and engaging new organisations whose opportunities are likely to be of interest to our student and researcher communities. This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is proactive and adaptable, and thrives on making connections. You will be an effective networker who builds strong relationships across sectors and with stakeholders at all levels. You'll bring creativity and curiosity to your work, always looking for new ways to engage employers, analyse data, and inform decision-making. You'll also have experience of planning and delivering events. You will work closely with colleagues across the Careers Service to deliver projects and collaborate with the Careers Consultant team to facilitate employer and alumni participation in our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme. All staff follow a hybrid working pattern, and we are well equipped to provide a supportive and comfortable working environment, both at home and in our central Cambridge office.
