Special Needs Teaching Assistants – Hampshire Area
Locations: Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Special Needs Teaching Assistants in specialist schools across Hampshire. No formal qualifications required – just a willingness to support children with additional needs.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils in the classroom, help with learning and daily routines, and work as part of a supportive team. You can choose to work in either:
* SEN Schools – supporting children with autism, physical or learning disabilities, medical or communication needs.
* SEMH Schools – working with children who have social, emotional or mental health needs such as anxiety, trauma, or behavioural challenges.
You’ll be matched to the right school based on your preferences and strengths.
Who Can Apply?
Anyone with a caring attitude and a genuine interest in helping children. Experience with children, care work, support work, or healthcare is helpful but not essential. Full training can be provided.

* Flexible hours – full or part time
* Term-time only
* Pay: from £13.75 per hour
* Must have (or be willing to get) a Child Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
