A private estate in Winchester is seeking a professional Housekeeper and Cook and a Gardener to manage a three-bedroom residence. This position offers a unique opportunity for a couple or a highly skilled individual, including on-site accommodation in a charming cottage.
While the staff may take on extra work locally, the requirement is to treat this client as the primary priority at all times.
Key Responsibilities,
Housekeeper and Cook (20 Hours per Week)
1. Housekeeping: Full cleaning, laundry, and wardrobe management for a three-bedroom home occupied by two adults.
2. Cooking: Preparation of high-quality daily meals.
3. Priority: The client must remain the primary priority, though local supplementary work is permitted.
Gardener (5 Hours per Week)
4. Maintenance: General upkeep of the estate gardens and grounds.
Candidate Requirements
5. Previous experience in high-net-worth or private households is essential.
6. A professional, discreet, and flexible approach to service.
7. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on fresh ingredients.
8. Ability to manage time effectively between housekeeping and gardening duties.
Working Hours:
Housekeeper Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 hours per day)
Gardener Schedule: 5 hours a week – day to be agreed but typically Monday to Friday
Some flexibility is required for weekends. Additional work will be paid in over time.
Days Off: Saturday and Sunday (although some flexibility is needed)
Accommodation:
The position includes a three-bedroom cottage located on the estate.
Utilities: Council Tax is covered by the employer and wood is provided for heating. Other utility bills are the responsibility of the occupant.
Pets: The employer is open to discussing the inclusion of pets
