We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
* Assist with daily patient care activities, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation
* Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
* Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia
* Assist with behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and calming environment
* Support with light household tasks such as cleaning and organising personal spaces
* Drive patients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
* Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff promptly
* Assist with activities of daily living in accordance with individual care plans
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with organisational policies
Skills
* Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care environments
* Knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia and Alzheimer's care
* Familiarity with medication administration and basic first aid procedures
* Strong caregiving skills with an empathetic and patient-centred approach
* Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when assisting patients with mobility needs
* Competence in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary requirements
* Excellent behaviour management skills for supporting individuals with behavioural challenges
* Valid driving licence for transportation duties; clean driving record preferred
* Capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Good organisational skills for maintaining accurate records and schedules
