Are you an experienced Engineering Manager or Senior Engineer ready to step up into a leadership role?
Our client, a successful FMCG manufacturing business based near Kirkham, is looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers and drive performance, reliability, and continuous improvement across the site.

This is a days-only role offering excellent work-life balance, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within a close-knit, well-invested manufacturing facility.

The Role:
* Lead and manage a small team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement

* Oversee engineering projects, installations, and improvement initiatives across the site

* Deliver and maintain a robust PPM strategy while responding efficiently to breakdowns

* Work closely with other departments to drive reliability and reduce downtime

* Be hands-on when needed to support urgent breakdowns or complex issues

* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with food safety and compliance standards
