Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for an Credit Controller to join our Finance Shared Service Team. This role will be based at our Staverton site. Main responsibilities: Management, review, and control of the Receivable Ledger A focus on cash collection- including preparing and sending out statements, emailing and contacting customers as required. Aged debt analysis and management of any overdue and/or query debt. Expected Cash receipt forecasting on weekly basis to include promises and risks. Assistance with production of month end reconciliations and year end transactions. Liaising with customer services and sales managers to establish and maintain strong relationships with the customers. Manage and lead the weekly debt & ledger review call with programmes. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Essential : Proven experience in a role dealing with all aspect of sales ledger administration. Good numeric ability (3 GCSE’s or equivalent to include Maths) Proven ability to use excel to an intermediate level. Ability to manage and analyse data. Logical thinking and attention to detail. Good organisation and time management skills. Ability to plan and prioritise workload Ability to communicate successfully on various levels Ability to resolve queries in a timely manner Willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally. Desirable: Experience in a fast moving/ high growth business Previous experience in a manufacturing business.
