Our Offering

Your Key Responsibilities

9. Communicate with Production Leaders and Segment Leaders to set priorities for the shift.
10. Manage absences and secure coverage for absences as required.
11. Meet with Team Leaders to manage absences and set the priorities.
12. Work with Team Leaders and others to make any required problem solving has an owner. Raise unresolved issues using the Shop Floor Management system.
13. Manage plant shift performance for safety, quality, productivity and cost as per plant objectives.
14. Evaluate and respond to shift head count organization/ overtime requirements as per segment shift priorities.
15. Complete accident reports and safety concern forms within the company mandated time frame.
16. Manage conformance of shift employees to all production systems as required.
17. Manage conformance of shift employees to all quality systems as required.
18. Coach, council and discipline employees [including documentation] as required.
19. Provide shift performance and inter-shift communication reports to each segment at shift end.
20. Provide training to all operators on safety, quality, productivity policies and procedures
21. Support layered audit systems.

Your Qualifications

22. Technical degree preferred or comparable work experience preferably within Schaeffler
23. Minimum of three years relevant experience as a Supervisor/Team Lead preferably within Schaeffler
24. Demonstrated leadership skills and business acumen
25. Broad manufacturing experience, preferably acquired within Schaeffler
26. Good knowledge of production processes, measurement & inspection procedures, production planning and control, budget process, MS-Office and SAP
27. Ability to manage and lead team leaders and other direct reports
28. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
29. Experience and knowledgeable of Safety and Health systems
