We're recruiting for a skilled Shift Engineer to join a high-end hotel operation in Ascot. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll support a 24/7 environment, work with modern building systems, and be part of a professional engineering team focused on exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping hotel operations running smoothly by:
Providing engineering support across the hotel to enable a 24/7 operation
Prioritising and responding to maintenance jobs alongside Housekeeping and Engineering coordination teams
Acting as a rapid response resource for faults and emergency situations
Supporting engineering projects and installations
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
Completing guest room checks, repairs, and touch-ups to meet service standards
Identifying complex technical issues and escalating to senior engineering leadership when required
Supporting floor teams with fault diagnosis to minimise disruption
What we're looking for:
To succeed as a Maintenance engineer within this environment, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience in a hotel or similar hospitality setting
ONC / HNC or City & Guilds qualifications in Building Services
Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering qualifications
Experience with building services and control systems
Knowledge of BMS, heating, air conditioning, and general maintenance disciplines
