Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across North Liverpool, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is ideal for individuals passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on young people’s lives. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to students with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support SEN students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
* Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
* Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing

Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or other settings)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one via Teaching Personnel
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Team Teach, Autism Awareness) are advantageous but not essential
