Overview
This vital role ensures that all staff are effectively onboarded, trained, and fully compliant with internal and external training requirements, empowering them to support our pupils with confidence and care.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate induction from Day 1 through probation.
* Organise school tours, IT access, Buddy system, and policy orientation.
* Monitor progress and support line managers with probation reviews.
* Manage Shine platform training compliance and reporting.
* Coordinate and record external training needs with SLT.
* Deliver in-house Safety Intervention, First Aid, and Medication training.
* Maintain up-to-date training records and generate compliance reports.
* Experience in training coordination and onboarding.
* Strong admin and organisational skills.
* Confident with Microsoft Office and E-learning platforms.
Desirable qualifications
* Experience in SEND or education settings.
* Familiarity with Shine or similar systems.
* CPI Instructor status or training delivery experience.
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above.

About Acorn Park
Acorn Park is a school for 160 pupils, all with a primary diagnosis of Autism. We run two curriculum pathways – Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex needs pupils are on the Semi-Formal Pathway, highly personalised from their EHCP. We have a mix of day and residential pupils with 8 co-located pupils\' homes on our 30-acre site in rural Norfolk. On site, we also have a large Forest School and Animal Care Farm, play facilities, a sports hall and sensory rooms. We have over 16 years of experience providing care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. We are a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults.
