Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
* Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the overall wellbeing of residents, promoting independence and dignity.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, adhering to regulatory standards.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance personal skills and knowledge in senior care.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care home environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is required and a Level 3 NVQ.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents and their families.
* Leadership qualities with experience in supervising staff or teams.
* Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
* A compassionate approach towards elderly individuals, demonstrating patience and understanding.
* Ability to drive initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and quality of life.
