Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
* Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
* Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines.
* Deliver goods directly to customers or designated locations, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
* Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and stock organisation when required.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
* Handle heavy lifting of goods, adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent injury.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
Skills
* Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a good understanding of commercial driving practices.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
* Strong organizational skills for route planning and time management.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
