Job overview
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge in an inpatient mental health setting? We invite applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist at Lynfield Mount Hospital, based on Clover Ward, a 10-bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, support recovery, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team both on the ward and in the community. You will also support the development of the occupational therapy and activity team.
Main duties of the job
We seek an innovative practitioner capable of service development, managing a complex caseload, and supporting team leadership. The role involves 7.5-hour shifts, including early and late shifts, across 7 days with applicable pay enhancements.

Essential criteria
* HCPC registration
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* Experience in risk assessment, patient assessment, and care planning
* Experience as a named professional for a client group
* Experience developing and facilitating group work
* Experience supervising staff and students
Desirable criteria
* Qualification in specific OT assessments (e.g., AMPS)
* APPLE accreditation or equivalent
* Experience in service development
* Staff management experience
* Team leadership experience
