An award‑winning, top‑tier MEP contractor with exceptional bid success and a strong pipeline of secured work is seeking a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator to join their expanding Digital Construction team. With an impressive client portfolio across the UK and Ireland, they deliver high‑quality projects across the Health, Education, Industrial, Leisure, andmercial sectors. This role is based in their Belfast office, with occasional travel to other offices as required.
Your new role
As a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading coordination activities across a range of major projects. You will take ownership of project delivery, support junior team members, and act as a technical lead within the Digital Construction function.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the development and coordination of BIM models topany and project standards
2. Overseeing the production of GA drawings, detailed sheets, and coordinated layouts
3. Preparing builders' works schedules and associated drawings
4. Managing 3D modelling of prefabricated and modular MEP solutions
5. Ensuring best practice in BIM processes and Revit MEP workflows
6. Supporting M&E design development using Revit MEP and Navisworks
7. Producing detailed 3D working models and scheme layouts
8. Managing and resolving system clashes through Navisworks Manage
9. Developing fully coordinated MEP services and structural layouts
10. Producing high‑quality 2D/3D design drawings, prefabrication isometrics and details
11. Ensuringpliance with BIM Level 2, COBie data requirements, and internal QA processes
12. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to BIM Coordinators/Technicians
What you'll need to succeed
13. Significant experience working in BIM coordination within an MEP environment
14. Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP
15. Strong experience using Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination
16. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model production
17. Experience working with BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs
18. Experience with Fabrication MEP/CADDuct is advantageous but not essential
19. Strongmunication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
20. Ability to lead coordination meetings and present model information confidently
