Were looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Driver to join a busy builders merchants operation in Dewsbury, covering ad-hoc holiday and sickness shifts.
The Role
Youll be driving a Curtainside Class 2 vehicle, delivering a variety of builders materials across West Yorkshire, including:
* Timber, blocks, plaster, and palletised goods
* Bulk bags (typically offloaded by forklift or on-site)
* No handball all deliveries are mechanically offloaded
Job Details
* Pay: £15.50 per hour overtime paid after 8 hours worked
* Start Time: Between 06:30 07:00
* Delivery Area: Local runs across West Yorkshire
* Drop Volume: Up to 15 drops per shift (typically across 3 runs)
* Shift Pattern: Ad-hoc, covering holidays and sickness
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (C) licence
* Experience with curtain-sided vehicles
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
