Overview
As a Deputy Home Manager, you will ensure the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements by providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver empathetic, person-centred care.

Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and the team.
* Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence.
* Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
* Adhere to National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice; maintain a valid NMC PIN.
* Engage in person-centred care planning within a care home setting.
* Maintain accurate records and manage time effectively while communicating with residents and co-workers with kindness and consideration.
* Support safeguarding; recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate course of action, including escalation if needed. Attend safeguarding training and undertake related development as required.
Qualifications
* Valid NMC PIN
* Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice
* Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home
* Strong mentoring, time-management, and record-keeping abilities
