About the Role
As the Biology Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Biology across KS3–KS5, with a strong focus on GCSE and A-Level delivery
• Designing and delivering challenging lessons that develop scientific thinking and practical skills
• Supporting students through practical investigations, coursework and exam preparation
• Contributing to the department’s extracurricular offer, such as STEM clubs, science fairs or field trips
• Taking part in wider school life, including pastoral duties and co-curricular activities
• Working collaboratively with a talented team of subject specialists
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Biology or a related Life Sciences discipline
• PGCE with QTS (or international equivalent)
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching up to A-Level
• Experience in independent schools desirable but not essential
• Passion for inspiring young people and promoting scientific curiosity
