We’re looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our busy workshop at Volvo Trucks Ipswich. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing Volvo commercial vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance.
Whether you're a seasoned technician or looking to take the next step in your HGV career, you'll benefit from world-class manufacturer training and a supportive team environment.
What will you do
11. Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Volvo HGVs and trailers
12. Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
13. Complete job cards and service records accurately
14. Work efficiently and ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
15. Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working area
Who are you
16. NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
17. Previous experience in a commercial vehicle workshop (Volvo experience a plus)
18. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
19. HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable (but not essential)
20. A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering top-quality work
