Overview
Skills Practitioner in Electrical Installations to join East Kent Colleges Group at Ashford College. The role involves liaising with internal and external customers/stakeholders, providing feedback to students to aid progression, and stock control including ordering and issuing of supplies.
Responsibilities
* Monitor Health & Safety within workshop sessions
* Order, organise and issue stock and supplies
* Lesson preparation
* Provide support to students to achieve their targets
* Maintenance of work stations
Qualifications
* Hold a level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations
* Uphold strong Health & Safety standards in practical environments
* Purchase resources and materials within budget
* Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
Experience
You will have recent industrial experience in a relevant area, and ideally experience of education or involvement in training in the workplace. You will be able to work with young people to achieve their full potential in line with the Group’s culture and ethos.
