My client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of their establishment, ensuring exceptional service and a high standard of quality in all areas The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, or food production, with a passion for team management and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment. • Assisting in social media marketing. • Supervise and train staff in various roles including, bartending, and front-ofhouse positions. • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure quality food production and presentation. • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. • Address customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. • Implement training programmes for new staff members to uphold service excellence. • Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times. Requirements • Proven experience in a hospitality or culinary environment, must be within a restaurant setting. • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices. • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. • Experience in food production or kitchen operations is highly desirable. • Bartending experience is an advantage but not essential. • Outstanding communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
