I am working on an exciting opportunity with a global manufacturer based in Greater Manchester. The business are true market leaders in their field, and they are looking to bolster their commercial sales team with an experienced Account Manager. This role will report directly to the Sales Director, involves full responsibility for managing and developing growth for existing account along with the development of new business accounts.
Role Description
1. Work closely with the Sales Director on sales strategy for the territory
2. Win new business in line with the strategy
3. Meet agreed targets for new business growth
4. Have an active involvement in site marketing and promotional activities
5. Provide support as required to the sales support function
6. Judge market conditions and customer requirements
Skills and Qualifications
7. Minimum 2-3 years sales experience preferably in packaging, card, boxboard
8. Experienced with commercial sales B2B
9. Excellent selling skills and sound technical knowledge in the packaging industry
10. Ability to work closely with key internal stakeholders
