This is an exciting opportunity to join an interesting, arms-length, Re-Insurance organisation as a Procurement & Commercial Services Business Partner within the Legal Risk & Governance team. You will play a key role in delivering Procurement and Commercial Services, ensuring compliance and driving value across the business.
Role & Responsibilities
* Build strong, trusted relationships across the organisation to deliver joined-up procurement and commercial solutions
* Ensure adherence to procurement policy, legislation, and best practice
* Lead regulated, strategic, and high-value procurement activities, as well as support below-threshold procurement
* Conduct supplier assurance, due diligence, and market analysis to optimise value and quality
* Support contract management activities, implementing best practice and maintaining consistency
* Administer eSourcing systems, contract registers, and provide management information to support decision-making
* Act as a Control Owner within the Risk Management Framework, ensuring robust controls and compliance
Skills & Experience
* An excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
* Highly organised and able to manage contract workloads independently
* Innovative and adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Proven track record of managing large tenders and procurement processes end-to-end
* Strong stakeholder engagement, including at senior leadership level
* Experience with eSourcing and contract management platforms
* MCIPS qualified (or working towards) with relevant procurement experience
* Public Sector experience essential and Financial Services desirable
* Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI
