We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Early Engagement Programme Lead to join our team in Manchester. Role Overview The EEP coach will be responsible for leading the delivery of all aspects of the newly defined Early Engagement Phase. The role is to broaden the talent pool for girls in Lancashire, specifically at the U10 to U13 age groups. This will include the assessment process, winter training and summer training and a summer match programme. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with coaching experience in a performance environment and will have a positive impact in developing girls’ cricket in Lancashire. Key Responsibilities Manage the girls Early Engagement Phase (U10 to U13’s) including communicating with parents and managing the coaching staff schedule Develop strong links with the Lancashire Cricket Foundation and outside of it, to ensure that non-traditional entry in the pathway is well managed. (E.g. links with MCC Hubs, Chance to Shine, ACE programme). Help to develop the Inter-league programme and champion those players within it. Assisting with selection and deselection decisions across the Girls Pathway. Head Coach of U13 girls’ team (2026 onwards). Provide coaching support to the Girls County Age Group Programme (CAG), Emerging Players Programme (EPP) and Thunder Academy. Scouting at CAG games, Lancashire Cricket Foundation (LCF) Inter-league cricket and Thunder Cup fixtures. Qualifications An ECB Level 2 Qualification is mandatory Previous experience in program management or a related field. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and project management skills. A passion for sports and community engagement.
