Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to staff and members, and maintaining efficient office procedures. The 8 hours will be spread over two days.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and organised environment
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring all documents are easily accessible
* Process invoices and manage accounts using Xero
* Support to Flag Officers and Board members with clerical tasks as needed, including typing correspondence and managing schedules
* Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance
Experience
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace and Xero is required
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
* Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Previous clerical experience will be considered an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £5,000.00-£5,500.00 per year
