HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: Rochester
Pay: £ per hour + Holiday Pay (£ PAYE)

Rapier Employment are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a highly respected and established client based near Rochester. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering paid training, guaranteed hours, and excellent earning potential.

What You’ll Be Doing
1. Multi-drop deliveries (5–8 per day) to customers’ homes
2. Delivering kitchens and bedrooms to room of choice
3. Working as part of a 2-man delivery team with a driver’s mate
4. Completing deliveries within scheduled time windows
5. Scanning and confirming deliveries
6. Providing excellent customer service at every stop
7. Heavy lifting involved
The Role
8. Start times between 04:00 – 06:00
9. Guaranteed 48 hours per week
10. Shifts up to 12 hours
11. Monday to Friday working (flexibility required during peak)
12. Vehicles pre-loaded overnight – no loading required

What We’re Looking For
28. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
29. Newly qualified drivers welcome
30. Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN, CU80)
31. Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
32. Physically fit (manual handling required)
33. Strong work ethic and reliability
34. Good customer service skills
35. Willing to complete DBS, Drug & Alcohol testing
