Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Bias)
No Nights no weekends
Shift: Double Days
Salary: £40,000 for 36.5 hours

Location: Commutable from Kettering, Rushden, Raunds, Northampton, and Corby
Profile
The successful candidate will be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias. Experience within a food or FMCG environment is preferred but not essential.
You will be a highly motivated individual with a proactive approach, as there are excellent opportunities for further development and upskilling within the role.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will work as part of a team responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance on new and existing equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
·Maintenance and fault finding on FMCG high-speed machinery
·Working on packaging, paper, and print machinery
·Reading electrical drawings
·PLC fault finding (advantageous)
·Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
·Involvement in TPM and 5S activities across engineering and manufacturing
Mechanically, you must be fully conversant with milling and lathe machines.
