SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant based in and around the S6 (Rotherham) area? We’re currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to join Milk Education, to work in partnership with our nurturing and inclusive Primary schools in S60.
Role Details:
1. Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary
2. Start: Novermber
3. Location: S5, Sheffield
4. Working Hours: Full or Part time – Term Time Only
Key Responsibilities:
5. Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
6. Support SEN pupils and provide one-to-one assistance when needed
7. Help maintain focus and engagement for pupils throughout the school day
8. Prepare learning materials and assist in delivering educational activities
9. Encourage a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
10. Collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff
Requirements:
11. Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
12. Strong communication and teamwork skills
13. Commitment to supporting the child’s academic and emotional development
14. Experience supporting children with SEND would be desirable
