FULL TIME - 42hrs 4 on 4 off shift pattern BCP Housing First supports individuals aged 18 and over, who have high support needs and a history of long term rough sleeping and homelessness. Our aim is to give them a home of their own, where they can regain stability, safety, and support. We work in partnership with BCP council and all support services within BCP, this helps us deliver a strength based, person-centred approach, creating a positive environment to help them sustain a home. Our dedicated team provides intensive one to one support to help our clients achieve their goals, everything we do is to coach and empower our clients to eventually achieve independent living. JOB PURPOSE To be part of the night team to keep our clients and services, safe. To provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES To provide informal support to clients and be a listening ear To complete wellbeing checks for all residents at agreed times and to meet their needs To monitor the service and surrounding areas that are covered by CCTV To deal with any incidents that may arise and contact external services when necessary To maintain clean and tidy communal areas, carry out cleaning tasks when required To provide detailed handovers to day staff, regarding client safety and support information To triage out of hours issues which may arise and contact the on-call manager where applicable To support your colleagues managing the night service, where required To support clients in trauma informed and psychologically informed ways To adhere to safeguarding responsibilities, following our safeguarding policy and procedure To help maintain health and safety, ensuring clients, visitors and buildings are safe in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, policy and procedures To provide basic first aid assistance until help arrives (full training is provided) To work confidently and efficiently when lone working To maintain accurate records on our client management system and ensure these are stored in line with GDPR To maintain confidentiality To represent the organisation in a professional manner To carry out any other reasonable duties required in the interest of the organisation ROLE REQUIREMENTS This role will require an Enhanced with Barred List(s) disclosure and barring service check is a requirement for this role. This would be completed on appointment of the role.
