Role Details
Document Controller – Digital Infrastructure
Location: Glasgow
What you will be doing:
* Supporting the regional project team by ensuring all documentation & information is controlled, maintained, and issued within agreed timeframes and processes.
* Following company protocols and security procedures, including the information handling plan and SAL.
* Acting as a communication liaison for design and site teams, managing key documentation and handover information.
* Building effective relationships within the project team.
* Supporting workflow processes like RFI, change control, and linking information within our CDE, Viewpoint for Projects.
* Managing Viewpoint for Projects, including creating document containers and managing access permissions.
* Auditing site records and managing registers to ensure compliance with BMS processes and procedures.
* Generating and issuing reports as required.
* Collating and completing handover documentation across sites.
* Supporting the Security Coordinator within your regional team.
About You:
* Experience in construction/telecommunications industries and knowledge of relevant standards.
* Security clearance to DV or ability to achieve it.
* Experience with defense projects is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of operational document control processes.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* Team player with excellent communication skills.
