Role Overview
As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from first fix through commissioning. You will lead on-site operations, ensure installations meet industry compliance standards, and act as a technical escalation point within the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead installation of advanced IP CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
* Commission and configure IP-based systems including network setup.
* Integrate smart lighting, AV systems, and WiFi infrastructure.
* Lead junior engineers and apprentices on-site.
* Conduct site surveys and provide technical solutions.
* Ensure installations meet SSAIB and industry compliance standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation and system diagrams.
* Troubleshoot complex faults independently.
Location & Travel Requirements
* Regular travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
* Overnight stays will be required depending on project location.
* All travel and accommodation expenses covered by the company.
* Paid travel time in accordance with company policy.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years experience in security system installation.
* Strong experience in CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
* Strong networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, routers, switches).
* Experience leading installations independently.
* Excellent fault-finding ability.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
