Grazia is looking for a Social Media Assistant. Reporting into our Social Media Editor, you will support her and Grazia’s Digital Director in posting and creating content and video across all social media channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok. This entry-level role is perfect for someone wanting to kick start their digital career.
You should be up to date with everything happening on social, with a particular interest in social video content, and work closely with SME to produce and edit timely and on‑brand social video for Instagram and TikTok. You will also generate ideas on boosting editorial traffic and affiliate sales, and creating commercial content to keep clients returning.
This is a hybrid role: you will work three days in our London office and the rest from home.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with SME to create reels and TikToks from original and agency footage that boost engagement, follower counts, traffic, and affiliate sales.
* Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for selling editorial pieces on social, and suggest new formats to elevate Grazia’s video output.
* Assist team members with technical issues.
* Attend shoots to create BTS content in SME’s absence.
* Create videos independently or with team members under tight deadlines.
* Comfortable front‑of‑camera and behind‑the‑camera.
* Keep on top of the forward planner for social and support SME in executing pre‑planned content.
* Post and schedule across all platforms, covering day‑to‑day scheduling, especially in busy periods.
* Support SME and Digital Director with traffic reporting, uploading and forward planning.
* Have a good understanding and passion for culture, news, fashion and beauty.
* Will occasionally work evenings and weekends (in exchange for lieu time).
