Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
1. •Successful completion of the Nursing Associate apprenticeship
2. •Registered Nursing Associate on NMC
Skills and Experience
Essential criteria
3. •Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal, and nonverbal communication) with patients, relatives/ carers and the multidisciplinary team.
4. •Ability to support, supervise, assess and act as a role model to nursing associate students, other learners and health care support workers as required within the clinical setting.
Desirable criteria
5. Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the team and organisation, and how the role may contribute to service developmental
Skills experience
Essential criteria
6. •Previous experience of working within a health/social care setting
7. •Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Business Travel
Desirable criteria
8. •Subject to the provisions of the Equality Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business. Level 1 or 2
