Cooks Spinney Primary Academy is looking for a committed Acting Head of School to join us from May 2026. This is a great opportunity for an experienced school leader to take on a key role in shaping the direction and continued success of our vibrant and inclusive school.
Working closely with the Director of Primary Standards, the Executive Headteacher and the wider BMAT team, you’ll lead on driving high standards in teaching, learning, and wellbeing across the school. You’ll play a central role in developing staff, supporting pupils, and building strong relationships with families and the local community.

About BMAT Education
