Make a Difference in Children's Lives: Family Time Worker (12 Months + Ongoing)

Staffordshire Council are seeking a dedicated Family Time Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring positive connections between looked-after children and their birth families.
Pay : £15.17 per hour
Location : Staffordshire County Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, Staffordshire, WV8 1PX
Contract : 12 month contract with a view to be extended along with the possibility to become permanent.
What you'll do:
* Coordinate and supervise family time between children and their families at designated contact centers and community settings.
* Create detailed observations and reports on your interactions with children and families.
* Liaise with social workers and escalate any concerns you may have about a child's well-being.
* Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for children and families during these visits.
What you'll bring:
* A valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle
* A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 in Working with Children and Young People (or equivalent experience).
* Experience working with children, young people, or families in a social care, educational, or voluntary setting.
* A strong understanding of child development and the needs of children in care.
* Excellent written communication skills to document observations and reports.
* A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their well-being.
* A team player with a caring and reliable personality.
