Our Bexley Primary School is a two-form entry primary school within a small Primary Trust. The school is located in the centre of Bexleyheath with excellent transport links. Partnership working between the schools is essential and we are grateful to have two fabulous teams that inspire our teaching and learning.
About the role
We are looking to employ a highly motivated and dynamic teacher to join our friendly, supportive team. Our Primary Trust is a growing multi-academy trust of two schools with an ethos of providing excellence throughout everything we do.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Plan, prepare and implement the agreed school curriculum to cater for the needs of all children within the assigned class and any other class taught.
·Provide well planned, engaging learning experiences and support for all learners and to deliver a diverse, relevant and differentiated (where appropriate) curriculum for all children in the class.
·Observe and evaluate the progress of each child
·Provide a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere that is conducive to the social and emotional needs of the children within the class.
·Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies at all times and to encourage positive practise in relation to general behaviour
·Create an engaging, stimulating and relevant learning environment through displays and classroom organisation.
·Maintain cordial and informative relationships with parents.
·Work as part of a team with the teachers and assistants within the assigned year group and the rest of the school staff.
