About The Role

The SUSTAIN project brings together three of the UK’s most research‑intensive and ambitious universities – Sheffield, Swansea and Warwick – together with the UK’s most CO2‑intensive industry and its supply chain. Purpose of the Post

* Build and maintain strong networks across academia, industry, and policy to support collaborative research and maximise the visibility and impact of the project.
* Plan, manage, and provide operational support for the delivery of the SUSTAIN annual conference.
* Develop and deliver a strategic dissemination and engagement plan, in collaboration with the Project Manager and Senior Admin Assistant, targeting academic, industrial, government, and public audiences throughout the project lifecycle.
* Promote the project nationally, ensuring a strong UK‑wide presence across the hub and spoke institutions and associated networks.
* Create and manage high‑quality multimedia content to communicate project goals, achievements, and partnerships across digital platforms, including websites, social media, and press outlets.
* Support talent development and visibility, including liaising with students and staff to promote opportunities across partner institutions to enhance the skills pipeline into academia and industry; develop, implement and update resources allocation plans needed for the project taking account of availabilities and scheduling.
* Develop and agree the budget for the project and control forecast and actual costs against this budget.
