About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance that helps every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance learning and engagement.
Help create an inclusive, safe, and positive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting childrens development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training.
