Carbost Community Shop is hiring a Shop Manager to lead the day to day running of its busy community store. This role suits someone organised and approachable who can manage people, stock and customers with confidence.
The role
* Manage the daily running of the shop
* Order stock and deal with suppliers
* Set pricing and manage the product range
* Prepare staff rotas and support the team
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues
* Manage invoices and general admin
* Oversee and update social media
Working pattern
* Around 30 hours per week
* Spread across 5 days
* Weekend work required
What we are looking for
Essential
* Previous retail or management experience
* Strong organisational skills
* Good people skills
Not essential
* Experience running social media
