Leading general Insurance business require an experienced Product Governance specialist to join their Conduct & Controls team. The role will provide support to the 1st line to help ensure great outcomes for customers are delivered, provide input into the development of new customer propositions, oversee the on-going assessment and oversight of products once live and be responsible for helping the business navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape.
The business offers a very flexible hybrid working policy, with the role requiring only 2 office days per week in the Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle offices.
Experience required:
* Experience of product governance, either as a product owner or in an oversight capacity, ideally in an insurance environment.
* Insurance regulatory and compliance knowledge including the design and implementation of frameworks, policies and processes.
* Strong knowledge and demonstrable evidence of applying the principles of the Consumer Duty including assessment of fair value and customer outcomes.
* Experience of designing and implementing product approval and review processes.
* Ability to act as business partner across multiple teams providing SME guidance and support to 1st line teams.
