Including Vehicle pre-maintenance / inspection preparation, “Off-Site” vehicle movement and “Out of Core hours” where required. • Manual handling of Vehicle Parts, Workshop Tools and Equipment’s on a daily basis (heavy lifting required). • Conduct basic User Level 1 repairs as aligned to technical competencies. • Maintain high standards of Equipment Husbandry, Engineering Hygiene and Housekeeping – Always keeping the workshop areas clean, tidy, and free of obstructions and hazards. • Maintenance and security of all tools, equipment’s, PPE, and technical documentation assigned. • Ensure adherence to all relevant standards, in compliance with both internal and external audit requirements, as well as all applicable policies and procedures. • Monitor and maintain POL and COSHH holdings (including stock rotation) at appropriate levels in provision of ES throughput • Maintain high Health & Safety standards. Ensuring adherence and compliance with business and corporate policies and legislation in all matters related to safety, health, and environment. What We’re Looking For: • Qualifications: Capable of performing manual handling tasks. Understanding or experience of Vehicle Workshop engineering and hygiene principles. Be IT Literate (Basic). Hold a full clean driving licence: minimal Cat BE. Attend and complete the necessary courses to meet business / customer requirements, competencies, currency, and development (including off-site where applicable). • Experience: Understanding / experience of a Vehicle workshop and associated services. Awareness of COSHH and POL – stock control, and of transport workshop provision of Equipment support throughput. Along with Military systems and process would be beneficial. • Skills: A result focused professional with a strong track record in meeting targets, diving change, and leading effective teams. Communicates clearly, acts with integrity, and support others to work the right way. Adaptable under pressure, manages time well, and stays engaged with the wider business and social responsibility initiatives. • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
