Business Development Manager – Compliance Consultancy

We are partnering with a well-established Compliance Consultancy that supports insurers, MGAs, and brokers across the London Market. With a strong reputation for high-quality technical delivery, the business is now looking to hire a commercially minded Business Development Manager to help convert an extensive network and client base into sustained revenue growth.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal, revenue-generating role where you will leverage your existing network and market knowledge to drive new business across the London Insurance Market.
While the primary focus is business development, this role is hands-on. You will also have the opportunity to support on delivery of client work, particularly where your technical expertise adds value.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and converting new business opportunities across the London Market
* Leveraging existing relationships to generate revenue from warm and established client networks
* Supporting the delivery of client engagements, including:
* Coverholder audits
* Claims and underwriting file reviews
* Product oversight and governance reviews
* Identifying cross-selling opportunities for wider business offerings, including eLearning and broker consultancy services
* Building long-term, trusted relationships with clients and acting as a senior point of contact
About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who combine strong commercial instinct with credible technical expertise:
* Good knowledge of insurance sector as well as general insurance products
* Good knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority regulatory requirements, working methods and priorities
* Good knowledge of financial issues as they impact Insurance Intermediaries
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills
* Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and networks
